Of course, this won’t happen overnight. It takes the right mix of scientific curiosity, strong engineering, and smart data. In this role, you will develop and integrate advanced Data Science and ML/AI methodologies to accelerate our Biotech R&D and ScaleUp projects. Your mission will be to drive digital transformation across R&D and process development building robust data models, enabling predictive analytics, and deploying automation tools that turn complex data into faster, better, and more confident decisions.

Your responsibility and impact within AMSilk company means to:

• Develop and deploy data science solutions for process optimization, troubleshooting and performance improvement at all levels (both internally and with external partners)
• Product Owner for ELN and LIMS, ensuring continuous development and alignment with internal requirements
• Design and implement data models and ML/AI tools for critical process areas to enable predictive analysis and soft-sensor applications
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, process engineering, automation and IT teams to ensure data integrity and accessibility
• Provide training and guidance on data manipulation, visualization and analytics tools to the R&D and production teams

Your areas of knowledge and expertise are:

• Degree in Bio-Chemical Engineering or Natural Sciences (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Physics, etc.) with strong data science experience 
• Or a Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field
• 3+ years' experience in data analytics, ML/AI applications and process development in biotech or related industries
• Proven track record in managing complex, data-driven projects and cross-functional collaboration
